- Myspace confirm rumours that they will be cutting staff by nearly 30% today. Myspace currently employs 1,600 people meaning that around 480 employees will lose their jobs. (TechCrunch)
- Radio advertising revenue will continue its decline, while satellite radio and out-of-home media, like billboards, will continue to grow, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers media outlook released today. (Billboard)
- A recap of Day 1 of the Capitol vs. Jammie Thomas file-sharing case. The jury consists of seven women, five men and no current LimeWire users. The defense’s lawyer said the labels cannot prove Thomas did anything illegal.
